Terms of service.

Welcome to Sabet (the “Platform”), operated by Sabet Studio (“we”, “us”). “Sabet Studio” is a trade name of Sabet Brands, Inc., a California corporation. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “Sabet Studio” mean Sabet Brands, Inc. It is the company that sells to you and charges your card. These terms govern your use of the Platform at sabet.com and any connected services. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these terms — read them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, place a bid, or buy a piece. By using the Platform you represent that you meet that bar and that any payment information you provide belongs to you and is authorized for use.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for the activity on your account, including any bids placed and purchases made. Keep your sign-in credentials private. If you suspect unauthorized use, let us know immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to defraud the Platform or other users, or harm the community.

3. Drops, bids, and purchases

Fixed-price drops. Clicking “Collect now” opens Stripe Checkout and creates a binding order on payment. Pieces are reserved on a first-come, first-paid basis; an abandoned checkout does not reserve inventory.

Auctions. Bids are commit-to-buy. By placing a bid you authorize us to charge your card on file if you are the high bidder when the auction timer ends: your winning bid plus the flat shipping & handling for your address (section 5) and any sales tax that applies. Bids cannot be retracted. If a bid lands inside a lot’s anti-snipe window (2:00, shown on the lot), the timer resets to that window. If two bidders are tied at the same amount, the one who bid on the lot first leads. If you are already leading you can raise your maximum; doing so never raises the visible price by itself. Lots on the same evening close a few minutes apart, in waves. The closing time shown on a lot when a board opens may be moved later — by minutes, never more than an hour, and never earlier — so the board closes in waves. The time on the lot page is always the current one, and each lot's own timer is the one that counts. If a reserve price is set and the high bid doesn't meet it, no winner is declared and no charge is made; a lot is described as “no reserve” only when none is set. Where a lot offers Buy It Now, that option ends once bidding reaches 60% of the Buy It Now price. Your bids appear publicly under your handle. The studio may withdraw a lot, or correct an error in a listing, before it closes; if a lot is withdrawn, no one is charged. Staff of Sabet Brands, Inc. do not bid.

Editions. An edition is a limited run; each comes with a numbered certificate. Certificate numbers are assigned in the order payment is captured, not the order checkout begins.

Pricing & taxes. Prices are in USD unless stated. Sales tax may apply based on your shipping address. Shipping & handling is the flat rate in section 5, unless a piece is marked “shipping included”. A Buy It Now adds the same flat shipping & handling on top of the Buy It Now price, exactly like a winning bid: a $900 Buy It Now is $900 + $50 shipping = $950 to a US address, or $900 + $85 = $985 anywhere else.

4. Payments and refunds

We use Stripe to process payments. Payment details are stored with Stripe; we never see full card numbers. By saving a card on file you authorize Sabet Brands, Inc. to charge that card without further confirmation, while you are not present, whenever you win an auction: the winning bid plus shipping & handling and any sales tax that applies. A Buy It Now charges the same card the moment you confirm it, for the total shown. We record when and where you gave that authorization. You can remove a saved card in Settings at any time you are not leading a live lot or owing on a win. Draws are no longer offered; draws held in 2026 were sold under the terms shown at the time.

All sales are final, except where the law of your country gives you a right we can't exclude. Every drop, auction, direct-purchase piece and edition is final once payment is captured; there are no returns or exchanges for a change of mind (customers in the EU and UK: see section 4b). Damage in transit, loss in transit, a wrong piece sent, and authentication disputes are the studio's responsibility and are made right as described in our Sales & Shipping policy.

Failed charges. If your card on file cannot be charged at auction close, we email you a secure payment link straight away. About 24 hours later we try the saved card once more, and we send reminders at 24 and 48 hours. If payment has not been completed 72 hours after the close, the win may be released and the piece offered to the next-highest bidder at their own bid. Repeated payment failures may result in account suspension.

4a. Club memberships (subscriptions)

The Sabet Canvas Print Club and the Sabet Poster Club are subscriptions. Your card is charged when you join, and the membership then renews automatically at the price shown when you joined — every month on the date you joined, or every year on that date if you paid for the year — until you cancel.

Cancelling. Cancel any time from Club → Manage (sabet.com/club/manage, which opens the Stripe billing portal) or by emailing support@sabet.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Anything already paid for still ships.

Price changes and reminders. If the price ever changes, we'll email you before your next renewal and you can cancel first. Once a year we email you a reminder of what you pay, how often, and how to cancel.

The $1,500 reward (Canvas Print Club only). It is a gift card for the apparel and accessories shop at sabet.love. It can't be used on sabet.com. On the monthly plan it is sent after twelve full-price monthly payments; if you pay for the year, it is sent after that payment. Discounted, credited or free months don't count. Poster Club members get a free month after every twelve paid months instead.

4b. Customers in the EU and UK

If you live in the EU or the UK, you may cancel an order for a standard item within 14 days of delivery and return it, at your cost, for a refund of the price and the outbound shipping. This does not apply to work made to your specifications or personalised for you. To cancel, email support@sabet.com. Import VAT and duties are collected by the carrier and are not refundable by us.

4c. Aura

Aura is the collector's score on your account. It grows as you take part: collecting, club months, bringing a friend who bids, and small things like posts and comments. Aura has no cash value. It can't be sold, transferred to anyone else, or redeemed for money, and there is no product called Aura to buy — though purchases, like other activity, earn it. Your score is kept at the highest it has reached, so it does not fall when an order is refunded, a bid is cancelled, or activity is removed. Aura perks are not prizes of any contest or sweepstakes, and Aura never affects entries or odds in a giveaway. The perks that come with it (early looks at lots, the free-shipping month, surprise prints and the rest) are the ones shown on the Aura page at the time. We may change or end a perk; we will post a change on the Aura page at least 14 days before it takes effect, changes apply going forward, and a perk already granted for the current month is honoured. Aura earned through abuse, such as fake or duplicate accounts, shill bids or self-referrals, can be removed, along with anything it unlocked. Closing your account ends your Aura. No purchase is ever required to hold an account.

5. Shipping and risk of loss

Physical pieces ship with tracking — originals direct from Sabet Studio, prints and canvases from the studio's print partner. Depending on how busy we are, it could take up to 4 to 6 weeks to receive any order, but we do our best to get it out to you as soon as possible. We ship worldwide. Shipping & handling is a flat $50 to a US address (US territories included) and $85 anywhere else, per piece; a work in more than one panel, or a multi-deck set, ships as separate packages at the flat rate each. Club memberships, and any edition marked “shipping included”, have nothing added. Every package is guaranteed by the studio: a piece that arrives damaged (report within 7 days) or is lost in transit (no carrier movement for 10 days) is made right under the Sabet Safe Arrival Guarantee — a print or edition is re-shipped; for a one-of-one original you choose a comparable original, studio credit, or a refund — and original artwork ships signature-required. 5a. Messages, reports and blocks

Messages between members are private to the people in the conversation. The studio does not read them as a matter of course. It may read a conversation when one of its participants reports it, when it has to investigate fraud, abuse or a threat to someone's safety, or when the law requires it. Posts and comments are screened automatically as they are published, and hidden if they break the rules.

You can report any member, and any conversation you are part of, from the “Report or block” menu on their profile or in the conversation; the studio reviews every report and may remove content, suspend or close an account. You can block any member: they can no longer message you, and they are not notified of the block. Sabet is not a party to anything members arrange between themselves — do your own due diligence before sending money or a piece to another member.

6. Verification and certificates

Verification submissions are reviewed by Sabet personally. We may approve, reject, or request more information at our sole discretion. Approved submissions are issued a certificate of authenticity (a digital record issued by the studio, not a hand-signed document). A certificate confirms authentication at the time of issue; it doesn't guarantee condition, valuation, or future market value.

We may void a certificate if we later discover the piece is misattributed, stolen, lost to fraud, or that the proof of provenance was misrepresented. Voided certificates remain publicly visible with a void status so the historical record stays honest.

7. Ownership transfers

The Platform supports recording ownership transfers between collectors when both parties approve. Sabet does not act as a broker, escrow agent, or guarantor for any collector-to-collector exchange. We do not facilitate or process payments between collectors. Money — if any — moves outside the Platform; any losses, fraud, or disputes arising from those private arrangements are between the parties.

We reserve the right to lock a piece (mark as stolen, retired, or under dispute) and force-resolve transfers in cases of fraud, theft, or unresolved disputes. Admin force-resolutions are logged and visible on the piece's provenance page.

8. Your content (posts, threads, messages, photos)

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting you grant Sabet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Platform for as long as you keep it posted. You may delete your posts at any time.

Don't post anything you don't have rights to. Don't post hate speech, harassment, doxing, illegal content, sexually explicit material, or attempts to fake authentication. We may hide, remove, or refuse content at our sole discretion. Repeat violations may result in account termination.

By posting you confirm that the content is yours or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, email support@sabet.com with the link, a description of your work, and your contact details, and we will respond promptly.

9. Intellectual property

All artwork on the Platform — paintings, editions, sketches, mini originals, apparel designs, and any digital reproductions — is © Sabet unless otherwise stated. Buying a piece transfers ownership of that physical (or digital) object only; copyright, reproduction rights, and commercial-use rights are not transferred. Don't use Sabet's work in commercial products, NFTs, AI training datasets, or merchandise without written permission.

The Sabet name, logo, and certificate format are trademarks of Sabet Studio.

Copyright complaints and takedowns (DMCA)

Collectors post their own photos, notes, avatars, and messages here. If you believe something on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (DMCA-1080692): Ali Sabet-Baktash, Sabet Brands Inc., 3972 Barranca Parkway, Suite J128, Irvine, CA 92606, (949) 705-9960, ali@sabet.com (subject line “Copyright notice”). Notices sent to support@sabet.com reach the same desk.

Your notice needs to include:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• the copyrighted work you say was infringed;
• the material you want removed and where it is on the Platform (a link is best);
• your name, mailing address, phone number, and email;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We remove or disable access to material named in a valid notice and tell the member who posted it. That member may send a counter-notice to the same address with their signature, the material removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, their contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for their district. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed.

10. Privacy

Your collection visibility is controlled by you — toggle private at any time. We store the minimum personal data necessary to run the Platform: handle, email, profile fields, shipping addresses for orders, and payment metadata for receipts. We do not sell your data. 11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@sabet.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your public posts and gallery are removed; certificates remain in the public registry under their cert numbers for provenance integrity.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind beyond those stated in these terms and the Sales & Shipping policy. We don't guarantee continuous uptime, error-free operation, or specific market outcomes for your collection.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sabet Studio's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when products evolve. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

15. Disputes, arbitration, and governing law

Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with Sabet Studio, email support@sabet.com with a description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We will try to resolve it informally within 60 days. Neither of us may start arbitration or a lawsuit before that period ends.

Agreement to arbitrate. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Sabet Studio agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the Platform, or any purchase, bid, giveaway, or club membership will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator may award the same remedies a court could award to you individually.

Small claims and injunctions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration if it qualifies. Either of us may also seek a court order to stop unauthorized use of the Platform or infringement of intellectual property.

Class action waiver. You and Sabet Studio agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim will be decided in court, not arbitration, and the rest of this section still applies.

Costs. Sabet Studio will pay the arbitration filing and arbitrator fees for claims under $10,000 unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous. Each side pays its own lawyers unless the law or the arbitrator says otherwise.

Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@sabet.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms, with your account email and a statement that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you and Sabet Studio agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Orange County, California.

Changes to this section. If we change this arbitration agreement, the change will not apply to disputes that began before the change took effect.
