The five
Each skull drawn by hand by Joss Monzoni, with Sabet’s calligraphy and gold laid over it — signed, sealed and slabbed in acrylic. Tap a card to see it up close. You don’t pick. When your name is drawn, the Vortex chooses which of these finds you — and shows you, right then.
All five
found their people.
I met Joss Monzoni on Instagram. I was scrolling one night and I was taken back by his work. Incredible lines, mind melting skulls and an ultra inspiring vibration that made me reach out and say — Who are you?
This is how our friendship started, and even though he lives in Canada, we've been able to build on our friendship for over 2 years. His work is the only piece of art that hangs in my digital studio — a true testament to how I feel about his work.
He recently visited me and we spent the day together. We chatted and painted and shared ideas of art, animation, film making and more. We both share a love for drawing skulls, even though his iconic skulls blow mine out of the water.
We made only five pieces together that afternoon, and these are it. Joss laid down the skulls, those incredible skulls of his, in black ink, straight from the hand that made me reach out in the first place. Then each sheet came across the table to me and I did what I do: the calligraphy around the skull, the gold, the marks and flourishes that bring it home. Two artists on the same five Mini Originals, which doesn't happen often for either of us. Each one came out stronger than the last. It's a diary of one afternoon with a friend, and now the five of them are available for you to own forever.

Which of the five is yours is not up to you. It’s revealed the moment your name comes up.

The rules, in full
- Members only. Claiming a spot takes a free account and a card on file; nothing is charged unless a piece is yours.
- One spot per person, for up to five pieces. You can always ask for more, up to five.
- Every evening at 5 PM Pacific, every open spot is drawn in random order and filled, up to its number, while pieces remain. There is no nightly cap.
- When the names outnumber the pieces, the order of the draw decides. A partly served spot stays in for the rest.
- You don’t choose the piece. When your name is drawn, one of the remaining pieces is chosen for you at random by the draw, and revealed to you that moment.
- $500 per piece, to the card on file, when your name comes up. Shipping is free worldwide; customs and duties are the collector’s.
- A card that doesn’t go through hands the piece to the next name that evening; fix the card and you’re back in the next draw.
- All sales are final. Certificates are issued in the collector’s name.
